I am very happy to have raised my third trophy in the current year! Honestly, I was dissapointed by my performance in the Double Sunshine and did not expect much from my performance in the American clay, specially after an awful first round.
Actually, I though that all my hope to win the tournament were in Jordan Thompson beating Tiafoe. I did not realize that only jimmycornflake and myself had picked Shelton for winning the tournament. I think he was by far the main favourite (and was also seeded number 1).
Now, I had a night flight to Montecarlo where I will be starting the European clay tour. Hope to be on shape here as well and improve my performance in the M1000, which is being awful.
