A rookie is a player who has joined the LLTL during the last 12 months. Several players are involved in these rankings, and the 2019 Rookie of the year is TennisElbow !



Time for Nelson to have his 1st interview.

Nelson : Congratulations TennisElbow, you're the rookie of the year 2019! Two titles on clay, three finals (including the one at the AO for your 1st tournament !) and you're now number #5 in the world. What a great start ! What do you expect for 2020 ?

TennisElbow : Thank you. I think I definitely had some beginner's luck! I may not have as much time on my hands this year so I'm not expecting too much, just looking forward to the challenge!

Nelson : And of course what do you think about the british players for 2020 ? What can we hope from Murray for instance ?

TennisElbow : I'm expecting another up and down year for British tennis with injury clouds hanging over most of the top players. I just hope Andy is able to get fit and compete this year. Hopefully by the summer hard court season he'll be a threat.
