The first titles of the seasons are for chucknorris at Sydney and JSPAD95 at Auckland. Nelson tried to meet the 2 winners, unfortunately he did not receive any answer from JSPAD95.

In the meantime, the "anekfutron" just reached a new level with 39 tournaments played without a title.



Nelson, LLTL : Congratulations to both of you with for your great performance. How did you feel during this first week, and what do you expect this season (ATP and LLTL) ?

chucknorris : How to better start the season than a title by beating anekfu on the string ? Moreover I did not expect it since my finalists fell very early, but this beginning of the year is full of surprises.
Therefore we can hope for an ATP season with a lot of new titled players and some moves in the top 10 (which starts to smell like formalin). On the LLTL side I was going to announce a world No. 1 spot and lots of Grand Slams but fortunately my ridiculous performance in Australia quickly calmed me ;)

Nelson, LLTL : The LLTL board is thinking about increasing the number of tournaments played this year. There are actually 68 tournaments played in the ATP tour + the Davis Cup. During the last years, the LLTL organized 19 tournaments in 2014, 27 in 2015, 28 in 2016, and 42 in 2017 (but the maximum of tournaments played by a player was 28, sincne there were several tournaments the same week). So the average is around 28 tournaments every year. Would you be ok if we raise this number to 35 approximately ? It could allow more players to win titles, since it is now more and more difficult, because there are much more players among the LLTL now !

chucknorris : The current pace suits me well (especially since it is about the same as an assiduous player of the ATP top 50), but if there are more tournaments I will obviously play them. I mostly see behind this question a maneuver to allow some old glories to hope to finally regain titles, I think in particular of anekfu whose we will celebrate the 40th tournament without title.
