LLTL, Nelson : before the last quarter-final, you"re sure to finish last of this first ATP 1000, with 2 points "ahead". It's your second last place after Doha. Your best performance were at Dubai (number 7). How could you explain such a bad series ? Is it related to your constant support to Kohlschreiber ?

babass : I'm not sure we can talk about a bad series, it's just that I'm not in a good shape these days. My crew (special dedication to Gaël) does not bring me enough stability, I feel emotionally weak. I also need to heal my right hand injury, which prevents me from clicking quickly!
But it must be noticed that it's always a pleasure to be interviewed by you, so I will probably try to accomplish again that kind of masterstroke.
Concerning my support to Philip, Germany and me is a big story (a strictness story !). And sometimes you have to take risks, I'm sure I will benefit from it one day !

LLTL, Nelson : Could you tell us a little bit more about your avatar (a picture of Arnaud Boetsch) ?

babass : I thought it was fun to chose him, for me this guy has always had a good reputation, even if it was not the best player of the tour. Unfortunatly, I'm afraid he has a bad influence on my actual level. Maybe I should change my avatar and chose a more motivating spiritual coach.
