Dubai Open ending

Team Loser - 2015-03-02 10:23

What a finish at the 2015 Dubai Open between ChipAndChargeDaez/josemobilette and Vincerick. Roger Federer's win allows ChipAndChargeDaez to win a 2nd title, and a first for josemobilette.

Lot of work for Nelson, who met the two winners and huss, who did a great bouncing week !

LLT, Nelson : Congratulations ChipAndChargeDaez for your 2nd title in a row ! We can notice that your performances are totally swiss-dependent, and it seems to be the right strategy these days. I guess now your next targets will be Airwolf110 and pulpipi (the 2 only players who scored more points in total than you in these 3 tournaments : Melbourne-Rotterdam-Dubai).

ChipAndChargeDaez : Thanks! Haha, yes you're right. So far, my results were 100% Swiss-correlated, but it was absolutely justified as you can see. Why should I choose another strategy as long as this two guys are in such a good shape!?
Yes, absolutely! My target is the top and I will do my best to overtake Airwolf and Pulpipi as fast as possible...

LLT, Nelson : Could you be interested in playing tournaments in which Federer/Wawrinka are not playing ? Acapulco, Buenos Aires, or the 2015 Davis Cup ?

ChipAndChargeDaez : Yes of course! Even if it doesn't always look like that, but I'm interested in Tennis in general and would appreciate a wide range of different tournaments...

LLT, Nelson : After your awful start this season (worst total on Melbourne + Rotterdam), you seem to really be in the game with this 1st title. And you won 3 ranks in the 2015 Race ranking to reach your best rank ever (number 9, few points behind babass and kayoo83 who played one more tournament). Do you fear the moment when you will have to be back to reality ?

josemobilette : I don't want to find any excuses, but the awful design of the website really drag down my performances. No return to reality on plans, my irresistible road to victory is starting.
Finaly, i'm really proud to take the win away from a rookie, for his first tournament (Vincerick)! I would like to know which is the youngest player of the history of the league to ever win a title? (and i don't talk about the dark period of this league, when only 4 players were competing).

ndlr : Airwolf110 is the "youngest" title winner. He won the AO at his first entry.
ndlr 2 : josemobilette is actually an "historic player", he played the LLTL ancestor league (Cincinnati 2011).

LLT, Nelson : As expected, this tournamement was not really surprising, like the other ATP 500 this week (Acapulco). Let's continue the discussion of this week : do the LLTL have to give priority to small tournaments without the big players ?

josemobilette : A mix sounds to be the right way.
Or, even if it means bet on strangers, shouldn't we bet on the Interclub Junior Britain League? Everybody should be equal face to that challenge. Whatever the decision is, nothing will prevent me from stacking up Titles.

LLT, Nelson : Congratulations huss for your crazy week ! You were the only one who did not pick the 4 seeds in SF. That's why you were last after Berdych reached the SF, and the you went back up to 9th ! How did you experience this week ?

huss : Thank you for highlighting my performance. To be honest I tried to stop the routine, but it never works in tennis. My dear Nelson, I suggest you to convince your boss to add soccer games, so I could dream to be number one. But I don't give and I will win, sooner or later !!
