What an amazing end of season ! chucknorris, ranked #13 in 2018, experiences his best season so far and is now leading the league, neck and neck with the defending champion latizada !

There are only 12 pts between these 2 players in the last Race rankings. The decisive tournament will be the LLTL finals next week in Helsinki. We had to check their mood before the final tournament.

latizada : To be honest, I am a bit pessimistic. I need to make the final to be able to finish number 1. I was very dissapointed with my performance in the first rounds of Paris-Bercy. When I saw the forecasts, I was very happy because few players went with Nole and I counted to make at least a SF which would have granted me the number 1 automatically
I want to congratulate chucknorris. He did very well under pressure in Vienna.

who could have told 1 year ago that I would be fighting for the season #1 rank with the LLTL GOAT ? Of course I would have preferred to be sure to finish number 1 but I found it fun to decide the season number 1 on a Challenger with unknown players ;)
After a lot of calculations it appears that I will start the Masters 2 points behind latizada (due to top 20 results) so I will do my best to do better than him, or maybe let him win the tournament because missing the #1 rank for 2 points does not seem like an option to me !

Au-delà de la prime attribuée sur ce tournoi (125-75-45-25, comme tous les challengers), le dernier tournoi en attente est le Top 20 !
Pour rappel, le top 20 est inclus dans le classement ATP et vous pouvez retrouver le détail des règles ici. Ce tournoi est inclus dans les fameuses 6 meilleures performances de l'année hors GC et M1000. L'actuelle moins bonne performance retenue parmi les 6 de chucknorris est un 90pts. Pour latizada, c'est une perf de 68pts qui sera remplacée par le score du top 20 2019.
En date du 4 novembre, chucknorris totalise 113 pts sur son Top 20, contre 105 pour latizada. Le gain de chucknorris pour son classement annuel grâce au top20 sera donc de 113-90 = 23pts, contre 105-68 = 37pts pour latizada.
Ce qui veut dire que malgré ses actuels 12pts de retard à la Race, latizada serait en fait virtuellement leader avec seulement 2 pts d'avance, car il reprendrait 14pts à chucknorris si le top20 reste inchangé !
