The last tournaments of the year

Nelson Loser - 2018-11-09 07:23

Here are the (delayed) interviews after the last performances from Adunar and atoenupu at Basel and Vienna.
One week after, Dan10nis won at Paris-Bercy his greatest title after a brilliant sesaon.

Back from holidays, Nelson tried to meet the 3 champions. Unfortunately atoenupu did not answer (yet).

Nelson LLTL : First congratulations to all of you for your titles. Adunar has more than ever the greatest list of titles but atoenupu and Dan10nis are now ranked 19 and 23. Among all your bets that help you win the title, which choice makes you super proud of ?

Adunar : Simon reaching the quarterfinals, I saw that one coming. I was in the stadium watching a below par Roger shut down a good Gilles Simon, that was quite fun to watch. And Medvedev's win over Tsitsi gave me the final win but that was quite lucky.

Dan10nis : After several failures in finale, this title in Paris arrives at the right time and comes to reward all the work made with my team during this year. I want to thank also my family who was in my box for all this week and who knew how to support me during good and less good moments. I am particularly proud of return in quarterfinal of Jack the "Sock" because yes I took the crazy bet to consider that Jack could take away 2 consecutive matches this season. First time (and last one) of the season that he makes it. Needs to say that the package of Nadal helped well me.

Nelson LLTL : What are your expectations for the ATP Finals next week ? And do you evaluate your season ?

Adunar : 2018 was an extremely successful year for me with 5 titles including 3 masters 1000. And to think that I was rather a Grand Slam player before (cf. my amazing 2016 year), I feel like I am now the Zverev of the LLTL. Latizada was just too good this year but I am happy to be the first human in the rankings ! For the World Tour Finals, i just hope i don't make a fool of myself.

Dan10nis : First of all I am very happy to participate in the Masters for the first time of my career LLTL. I am even 3rd in the Race but I don't put particular pressure. I have nothing to lose The title in Paris-Bercy gives me a lot of confidence. Concerning my season 2018 I am rather satisfied. I played by moment a very good level of game allowing me to reach my first final of Grand slam and to win one Masters 1000. I am going to work hard during the interseason to win in regularity for 2019.
