Huge performance for Adunar who just stunned the LLTL. This new title at the French Open 2016 gives him a big advantage at the Race. After his final at the AO 2016, he confirms that he is definitely the player for main events.

Nelson, LLTL : Congratulations Adunar for your performance ! After being the runner-up at the AO, you win the title at the French Open and you can really think about being ranked number 1 at the end of the season. What do you expect for the second part of the season ? Will you try to take more risks, or will you remain focused and secure until the end ?

Adunar :Thank you so much. It was a wonderful ending to a rainy fortnight. Thank god it rained as I had a wrist injury entering the tournament. I have been doing well at the slams so far but my results have been disappointing in the lower category tournaments. As I am usually rather conservative with my picks, I am certainly going for more risky picks at the 250 and 500 tournaments. At the bigger events I won't change a thing as the season is still long (2 GS, 4 Masters 1000 and many 500 to go) and my lead isnt very large. It is nice to be ahead but even better to stay ahead!
