A new title for Andy Murray and mcatolico at Shanghaï 2016. A big suspense at the race for the first LLTL masters !



Nelson, LLTL : congrats mcatolico for your second title this year. You made some very good picks with Jack Sock and Alexander Zverev. And thanks to Murray, you're the first British man to win a M1000 tournament and to join the top 10 at the LLTL. What does that mean for you ?

mcatolico : Thank you, I'm very happy to win my first 1000 masters title. It's a dream come true. I had lots of points to defend after making the final last year in the same event, so Shanghai must be a lucky event for me! It's also an honour to be the first British winner of a masters event. Hopefully I can do the same and win a grand slam title very soon!

Nelson, LLTL : your win at Shanghaï revitalises the race for the masters. You are now ranked number 9, only 200 pts far from chucknorris. What's your plan to be part of the masters ?

mcatolico : yea the win in Shanghai has put me back in contention for the top 8 finish. I'll need to have a strong finish in Paris though to have a chance so it's still very tough. Considering this is my first full calendar year of taking part in the LLTL, ending the year in the top 8 would make my day!! :)
